Therapy for athletes & performers in South Jordan, UT
Ditch mental blocks and reach peak sports performance with online or in person therapy throughout the state of Utah.
Wasatch Brainspotting
I help athletes and performers reach and operate at their best without anxiety, overthinking, and mental blocks due to injuries or bad experiences.
My clients struggle as you do. Despite being motivated, hardworking, and talented, reaching peak performance is hard.
When they first come in, they are stuck in their thoughts, anxious, and have tried just about everything they can to get past their mental blocks. They have followed suggestions from coaches, trainers, parents, and even sports psychologists, with little to no improvement. They often feel hopeless and at the brink of giving up or just coming to terms with the block in their performance or mental game.
Their mental blocks or performance anxiety get in the way of the life they want in so many ways. They aren’t the kind of athletes or performers they want to be. They feel like they are failing at their position, performance, or instrument, and their confidence is tanking.
Like my clients, you deserve to eliminate mental blocks, reduce overthinking and anxiety, and perform at your personal best.
Mental clarity and peak performance are not out of your reach.
If you want to eliminate mental blocks and perform at your best, I would love to help get you there.
How can I reach peak performance again or for the first time?
Overcome mental blocks and performance anxiety with Brainspotting.
A mental block can feel like an unseen barrier—showing up as the yips or twisties, a sudden slump with no clear cause, or intense fear following an injury or difficult experience. Aimee provides targeted support using Brainspotting:
Brainspotting is a focused and effective approach that helps the brain process and release deeply rooted performance challenges.
Through this method, Aimee works closely with athletes to uncover and address the underlying causes of their struggles.
As a result, athletes are able to move beyond these barriers more efficiently and return to the natural, peak performance they know they can achieve.
Enhance mental toughness
When pressure is high, many athletes and performers struggles to perform at their best. Aimee provides concrete, real world techniques that will help them to:
overcome sports performance anxiety and stress
thrive in clutch moments
develop a competitive focus
increase emotional control
regulate the nervous system
Real mental toughness goes beyond simply trying harder; it’s about building resilience and staying decisive—bouncing back quickly from mistakes, tuning out outside criticism, and developing the competitive edge needed to perform at your best consistently.
Incorporate Brainspotting into your training routine
Adding Brainspotting to your training routine can be a powerful way to elevate your performance by:
teach your brain to switch into flow state and stay there during high pressure situations.
release past negative experiences, injuries, and limiting beliefs
Brainspotting also supports mental clarity, helps you navigate new challenges, and promotes ongoing performance improvement
If you want to eliminate mental blocks and perform at your best, I would love to help get you there.

About Me
Hi, I’m Aimee! I’m a little quirky, don’t take myself too seriously, and love being outside—whether I’m doing something active or just sitting in the sun doing absolutely nothing. Lately, I’ve been getting into golf and having way more fun with it than I expected.
I grew up playing travel and high school softball and loved the game, but confidence didn’t always come easy to me. Looking back, I really wish someone had helped me understand performance anxiety and how to work through it. It would have made such a difference—not just in how I played, but in how much I enjoyed it.
That experience is a big part of why I do what I do now. When I trained in Brainspotting, I found an amazing community of therapists from around the world who work with athletes and performers—and I instantly knew I had found my thing. I’m passionate about helping people get out of their own way and perform at the level they’re truly capable of.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 16 years of experience, and I’ve worked with a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, substance use, relationship struggles, and family issues. I’m certified in Brainspotting and trained in EMDR, and I love bringing these tools together to support my clients in a way that actually feels effective and meaningful.
